Denise Stidham
Dental Hygienist/Treatment Coordiantor
I have a degree in Biology from the University of VA and graduated from ETSU dental hygiene school with top honors. I have practiced dentistry since 1996 and worked at this office since 2003. I value educating the patient rather than blaming them for their issues, so that they will be prepared to address and improve their dental health. I believe that a patient should not be made to feel "shame" about their dental situation, everyone is a work in progress. It is not uncommon for life to "get in the way" of dental treatment or to get off track. The hardest part about getting back into the groove of regular dental checkups is walking back in the door. We can help you break treatment down into steps that you can take, over the next few weeks, months or years to get back to good dental health.
I love this office and all that work here. We are a work family, who cares about serving others, and even though we aren't perfect I promise we do try to be. If you are looking for an office that cares, then I hope we get to meet you soon.
I am blessed to have a wonderful husband and two great kids. My family travels as much as possible to hopefully achieve our goal of visiting and hiking all the National Parks. We have visited 29 U.S National Parks, and 4 Canadian National Parks so far. We love travel, soccer, wrestling, hiking, and boating.

I have been married since 2022. My husband and I have a daughter and one sweet doggo! I graduated with my RDA License in 2020. I have been with this practice since 2023. Growing up, I had extensive work done to my mouth, including 3 sets of braces and various mouth surgeries. I quickly learned that you're never fully dressed without a smile. I am so grateful for the dental teams that helped to create mine over the years and I strive to help others the way I was helped! I am very fortunate to work for a practice who genuinely cares about the health of their patients. I look forward to assisting you in creating the perfect smile for you!
